NYFW FW25: Compartmentalize

This 1/1 safety-pin set explores what it means to hold yourself together while navigating conflicting emotions. The fur-lined vest is split down the center and reconnected using 40 metal safety pins, worn over a custom bandana-print collared shirt accented with grommet details and a hand-drawn line-art tie.

The pants are constructed from three stitched panels that create a fragmented silhouette, brought into harmony by a rhinestone gradient that rises from the hem. The entire look balances softness and hardness, openness and restraint — structured yet unraveling in all the right ways.

Process: The vest was split and reassembled using 40 safety pins, creating intentional tension between vulnerability and structure. The bandana-print shirt was customized with a grommeted collar and paired with a hand-drawn line-art tie. The three-panel pants were stitched together and finished with a hand-applied rhinestone gradient climbing from the ankle for dimensional shine.
