NYFW FW25: "Burning Passion" Plantain (Top: L | Bottoms 30/32)

Description: This 1-of-1 look was crafted using fire as the primary fabric-manipulation method, where destruction becomes design and heat becomes identity. The jacket features flame appliqués on both front pockets, while the back showcases a triple-layered construction with double “fire eye” prints, a charred white overlay, and a bold flame centerpiece. The pants include a flame appliqué at the hem, burnt holes that climb the front, and a clothespin clasp closing the scorched zipper track. Burning Passion reminds us that once purpose ignites, your path becomes undeniable. Passion spreads like wildfire.

Process: Denim was burned, charred, and heat-sculpted to achieve intentional distressing and texture. Flame appliqués were added to both the jacket and pants, and the back panel of the jacket was constructed in three layers to create dimensional depth. The pants were finished with a flame hem appliqué and curated burn patterns, including a clothes-pin closure for the damaged zipper track.
